Dermatology Hawke’s Bay was thrilled to support The Cocktail Party, hosted by Karamu Rotary Club to raise funds for a new Cranford Hospice facility.
The event, held at the Toitoi Hawke’s Bay Arts & Events Centre, expertly managed by PlanIT, was once again an amazing success with glitz, glamour and conviviality, enjoyed by hundreds of people, all in aid of raising funds for a new Cranford Hospice facility.
Cranford Hospice provides palliative care, education, support and advice to the people of Hawke’s Bay. The Cranford Hospice Foundation is dedicated to realising the vision of a new home: They have already raised $14.4 million to date out of the$15 million needed to construct a new purpose-built home.
Dermatology Hawke’s Bay was very pleased to donate an auction lot of fifteen skin checks with Dr Juber Hafiji, worth over $5,000. The lucky winner is gifting skin health and peace of mind to fifteen of his friends, family and staff members.
“We’re very happy to support this wonderful event in support of Cranford Hospice,” said Dr Hafiji. “Cranford is an asset to our community and it’s exciting for them to be nearing their fundraising targets for their new facility. We were humbled by the generosity of the community and very grateful to be involved.”
The Dermatology Hawke’s Bay team had a fabulous time at the event, which was topped off by our very own Appearance Medicine and dermatology nurse, Rio, and her partner Jacob winning a trip to Bali for 5 days! We couldn’t think of a couple who deserves it more!
