Where is the clinic located?
Dermatology Hawke’s Bay is located in the heart of Havelock North Village, right beside the main roundabout. Our address is:

Is there parking?
We have dedicated car parking spaces for our patients. Our underground carpark entrance is accessed from Havelock Road, between Annabel’s retail store and Havelock North Motor Lodge. When you drive into the carpark, continue straight ahead to the far wall and you’ll see our dedicated spaces marked ‘Dermatology Hawke’s Bay’.

How do I access the clinic?
CLINIC ACCESS FROM THE UNDERGROUND CARPARK
Head to the stairwell, which also houses a lift – Dermatology Hawke’s Bay is located on Level 2.
CLINIC ACCESS FROM STREET LEVEL
The ground floor entrance is via the laneway between Nic&Cole and Moochi retail stores on Havelock Road, or from the laneway between Malo restaurant and the Hartley’s retail store on Te Aute Road. For your comfort, we recommend you take the lift to our clinic on Level 2.

Making a booking
How do I make a booking?
You can call us or email us – you’ll find our contact details here. When making a booking, please advise if your consultation or treatment is to be covered by your insurance provider.
Do I need a referral from my GP?
No, you don’t require a referral from your GP and can self-refer. Please contact us to book an appointment.
Do you take bookings for out-of-region patients?
Yes, we offer virtual consultations for New Zealand-based patients aged over 16 for certain conditions. Read more about our virtual consultations here.
We also take bookings for New Zealand-based patients located out-of-region who want to travel to our clinic in Hawke’s Bay for a face-to-face appointment or treatment. Please contact us to book.

Payment
How much will my consultation and treatment cost?
- Medical consultations start from $375
- Single skin lesion checks start from $275
- Full skin checks start from $375
- Pricing for skin treatments vary depending upon requirements
- Pricing for skin appearance treatments are stipulated on the relevant pages
Prices on the website are indicative only.
Do you accept health insurance?
Yes, we are an affiliated provider for Southern Cross and NIB. Please note that health insurance policies do differ, so you will need to check the terms of your policy. Please advise our receptionists when booking if you would like your consultation or treatment to be covered by insurance.
How do I pay?
Any costs not covered by your insurance provider can be paid via Eftpos or credit card. Please don’t hesitate to discuss payment options with our team – we will be happy to talk through this with you.
When is payment due?
What are the terms of the complimentary 15-minute consultation* for appearance treatments?
If you are keen to book a skin appearance treatment, we would encourage you to book a 15-minute consultation with one of our registered dermatology nurses. They will explain the options, discuss what treatment (or treatments) are right for you, and recommend a customised treatment plan to achieve your goals.
*The price of the 15-minute consultation is redeemable against any appearance treatment. However, if you do not wish to proceed with a treatment, a $50 charge will apply.
