We are Hawke’s Bay’s only dedicated skin cancer and dermatology practice offering Mohs micrographic surgery. We also offer a full range of skin checks, skin cancer treatments, general dermatology and skin appearance treatments. No GP referral is required.
Dr Juber Hafiji
I was born in Yorkshire (UK) and completed my Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree at the University of Leicester Medical School (UK). After completing 3 years of general medicine, I obtained membership of the Royal College of Physicians (London, UK).
I completed my Dermatology training at Cambridge University (UK) following which I completed my advanced surgical training with the American College of Mohs Surgery. I am a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and Member of the New Zealand Dermatological Society. I am passionate in what I do and aim to deliver good outcomes for my patients. I aim to treat my patients how I would like myself or my family to be treated.
I relocated to Hawke’s Bay with my wife and 3 children and we have never looked back. Moving to the bay was one of the best decisions I have made.

I was most recently working in primary healthcare but am enjoying the change to specialist healthcare focused on our largest organ – the skin.

I have been on the Dermatology Hawke’s Bay journey from the outset. Originally from Hawke’s Bay, I have worked as a legal and medical transcriptionist in the public and private sectors. Having lived in Australia for many years, it’s nice to be back home.
